Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, 1977; three honorary doctorates; Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida, 2004; Lieutenant Colonel USMC, Ret.; test pilot; recreational interests include woodworking, racquetball, weight lifting and bicycling; he retired from NASA on 01.10.1997 to become president of the FIRST Foundation, Manchester, NH; he later served as Associate Program Manager for Ground Operations with United Space Alliance (USA); in 2000 he became Director of Technical Operations with USA; currently a Vice President and Program Manager with Honeywell.
