Flight

Launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome; landing of Padalka and Bella (launched with Soyuz TM-29) 59 km northeast of Arkalyk.

Following a two day solo flight the Soyuz docked with the MIR space station on 15.08.1998. Padalka and Avdeyev became the 26th resident crew of MIR. Baturin, the first Russian politician in space, performed an inspection mission.

Padalka and Avdeyev performed an EVA on 15.09.1998 (30m) into the module Spektr. They connected new cabels for the solar structures.

Note

Baturin landed on 25.08.1998 (5:24 UTC with Soyuz TM-27).
Avdeyev returned to Earth on 28.08.1999 (0:41 UTC) with Soyuz TM-29 spacecraft.
