Graduated from Air Force Engineering Academy, Monino, Moscow Oblast, 1956 an received a doctorate degree in engineering, 1963; Colonel, Soviet Air Force; was selected on 08.01.1963 (TsPK-2); OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 1/63 - 21.01.1965; was assigned for a Voskhod long duration mission; later he was a deep sea researcher, he died of cancer.
