1944 and from the Military Fighter Pilot School, Yeis, 1945; Pilot in the
Soviet Navy; was selected as cosmonaut on 07.03.1960 (TsPK-1);
OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 4/60 - 03.04.1961;
from 1966 to 1967 he was head of the
Almaz cosmonaut training group; died of pneumonia
after stomach operation in the following of pancreatitis. |
