At the time of his selection 38 years old; Captain, Canadian Air Force, Ret.; Bachelor of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from McGill in 1989; in 1999 he left the military and began working with CaseBank Technologies where he was team leader of a group that develops computer driven artificial intelligence maintenance programs to repair aircraft; he speaks Cantonese, English and some French; hobbies: to fly; selected for the team "Canadian Arrow" to win the "X PRIZE".
