After retirement he worked for a radio station in Delhi; in 2002 he worked as the director of radio company "green channel"; in the same year he became film actor at the Indian motion picture studio Bollywood; testpilot of the Indian Air Force; Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.); in 1981 he was among the first Indian pilots flying the MiG-25 in the 102^nd squadron in Bareilly; one of the four finalists in the selection of candidates for the Soviet-Indian mission.
