Joined the Antonov design bureau from school in 1947; she learned to fly and at some point was commissioned into the Soviet Air Force; by the time she met Pavel Popovich in 1955, she was a Major, a test pilot and holder of 13 aviation world records; Colonel Soviet Air Force; following her retirement she is a global known on ufologist and hold lectures around the world.
