One of fourty semi finalists in the "Journalist in Space Program" (cancelled following the Challenger tragedy); candidate from Colorado; in 1986 working for the Denver Post. Mrs. Eicher was a reporter for 23 years at The Denver Post, then decided it was time to make a change and be in a job where she could work with children every day. She is now teacher at teacher at Tennyson Knolls.
