At the time of his selection 40 years old; Captain, Canadian Air Force, Ret.; from 1998 to 2000 he served as a Combat Exchange Pilot with the Royal Air Force, situated in England; from 2000 to 2002 he served as an Aviation Tactics Instructor at 403 Helicopter Operational Training Squadron at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, New Brunswick; currently studying for his Master of Arts in interdisciplinary studies by distance education at Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C.; selected for the team "Canadian Arrow" to win the "X PRIZE".
