Colonel, USAF, Ret.; Bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering from the Purdue University, 1950; master of business administration from the University of Southern California, 1966; flew combat mission in the Korean-War and over Vietnam; on 19.09.1962 selected as X-20 Dyna-Soar pilot; then training on Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, California; resigned on 10.12.1963 after the program had been given up; worked in different departments of the USAF; he has died on 24.09.1996.
