Bachelor of science from USAF Academy, 1970; master of science in meteorology from Texas A&M, 1972, Ph.D. in Meteorology from University of Utah, 1980; Colonel, USAF, Ret.; 1985 selected as USAF Air Weather Service Officer; later on he worked at the Pentagon; resigned from Air Force in 1995; currently principal director, Reconnaissance Systems Division, Engineering and Technology Group, National Systems Group (NSG).
